On 5 March 2014, Grandmaster Wolfgang Schnur surprisingly received a letter from the Philippines, home of the founder of IPMAF and founder of the Kombatan (Modern Arnis/Mano Mano) Grandmaster Ernesto A. Presas. This letter contained three fully written pages, drafted by Presas' family. The family thanks comprehensively for the loyalty to IPMAF in decades and for spreading Modern Arnis/Mano Mano in Germany.

The big surprise, however, is still to come. GM Wolfgang Schnur was awarded the Lakan Sampu (10. Dan) in Kombatan. Therewith Presas' family appreciates his encouragement for the Philippines and the martial arts in Germany as well as the honest and sincere friendship and loyalty of GM Wolfang Schnur to GM Ernesto A. Presas and his family. This loyalty astonished GM Ernesto A. Presas very often because he might have known it also differently.

All friends and members of the MAMD are truly happy about this honour and congratulate heartily to the 10. DAN.
